Damien Lovegrove

Damien Lovegrove is a world-renowned portrait photographer and Fujifilm ambassador. He has been a TV cameraman, a commercial photographer, a wedding and portrait photographer, and now he is a writer, columnist, teacher, motivator, and artist.

He went to the BBC at the age of 19 and trained for three years to be a cameraman, going on to train as a Lighting Director, and leaving the BBC in 1998 to become a full-time photographer.

What devices can I watch the video on?

Whilst the video is exclusively licenced for you only, you may have a copy of the video on multiple devices you own – ie. tablet, phone, TV. We recommend initially downloading the video files onto a desktop or laptop computer then syncing the files to mobile devices. TIP: By creating a playlist in iTunes of the video files in order you can then seemlessly watch the complete production without needing to switch to the next part.Lumen files are .MOV files. If you are using a PC, some versions of Windows Media Player do not support .MOV files. The Classic version does, apparently. If you are using Windows Media Player and you are experiencing any issues with sound, please try Quicktime or download this free VLC player for Windows Media Player

How can I watch it on my iphone or ipad?

Once you have the file on your computer, open up iTunes and import the files into your media library. Then connect your mobile/tablet and synchronise the files in the usual way. You should be able to then play the videos in your default video apps.


How many download files are there and how big are they?

Lumen has been split into a few smaller files to reduce download times and make it a little easier for the majority of our customers. There are 4 files, each approx 1.5gb plus the PDF guide. Please download one file at a time to minimise download issues.



What flash equipment is used in the production?

Damien exclusively uses Godox branded flashes in this latest production including the Godox AD200 pocket flash, AD600BM plus various light modifiers and accessories. The imagery created in the production can easily be produced using many other branded flash equipment with similar specifications and power output. If you’re looking to up your game in flash photography then this is the production for you.
